Did you know that The Parents' Association of Cetronia is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the welfare of the students of Cetronia Elementary School? The PAC sponsors field trips, special class projects, educational assembly programs, movie nights and roller skating parties. Other events we fund include the 100 Days of School celebration, 4th Grade Mardi Gras, School Spirit Sale and 5th Grade Picnic. We purchase books for the library, present the school with an annual gift, prepare staff appreciation luncheons, purchase tee shirts for every new kindergarten student and present each fifth grade student with a gym bag and tee shirt. Additionally, the PAC purchases Scholastic Magazines for all grades, covers the cost of the school directory, gives each staff member with a $75.00 classroom supply grant, purchases the birthday hedgehogs for the students, and so much more. At this time we are even venturing into a long-term capital fund project to improve our playground.

The PAC runs many fundraisers throughout the year, but certainly one of our favorite and most profitable is the annual Fun Festival. This fantastic family event is held in May of every year. Many volunteers spend countless hours planning, setting up, and executing this amazing event. Food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, funnel cakes, ice cream and more are sold. Fun activities such as face painting, crafts, bingo, and games are set up for everyone's enjoyment. All of this can only happen with the help of volunteers. New faces are always welcome and needed, so please join us for all of the fun!
